Reflection - Argumentative Essay and Debate

Hello, guys and girls. Today is the last day of the LB class when we learn about argumentative essay and debating. I need to make this reflection from what I did in the class during the unit. But overall, we learned how to proof our argument and how to counter or disproof our argument. We learned how to persuade and provoke.

Argumentative Essay

I got 16 marks out of 24. It's not very good mark, but it's pretty good. My teacher said that I put good evidences in the essay, and I refuse the opinions that against my opinion. But next time, I need to work out for my citation. I got no marks for citation, because I forgot to put the bibliography to my essay. And I need to also work out for my thesis statement in the essay. Most of us put the thesis statement in the wrong place, where it's in the first sentence of the first paragraph.

Debating

My teacher said that I was quite expressive when I did the debate. I was the rebuttal, and it's hard for me to rebutt my opponent, because I never be a rebuttal before. While my opponent was very good in debating. So I was just say what are in the notes because I was too nervous. But, I hope I got a pretty good score...
